Russia Says no Luke Harding..!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41461551/ns/world_news-europe/

Luke Harding is a British journalist and has gotten himself in trouble lately with Russia.  Luke Harding recently published an article about Russia being a violent country and that Vladimir Putin "knew" about a planned assassination on Alexander Litvinenko.  Luke was on a plane headed to Russia and was sent back to the UK and airport staff told him that Russia doesn't want him there.

  1. Excellent post. You wouldn't believe how much censorship of the press there is in Russia. Democracy? Vladimir Putin (Russian Prime Minister and former President), according to some journalists, is taking a stand on rhetoric against the government. Check out this article.

  2. Seems like reporters and journalists cant even do there jobs anymore without fearing something could happen to them or their families. Russia is being upfront with the "dislike" of journalists and reporters giving away information and using violence of all things to get there point across. Very strange...
