Millions of Sardines and other small fish were washed up onto a nearby harbor in Redondo Beach Ca. Biologits came to a conclusion that the fish died because they did not have the proper oxygen they needed to survive after being washed up onto land via a storm. It cost the city 100,000 dollars for them to clean up the mass million dead fish. Local fish like seals have been feeding of the dead bodies.
